My Living Will

I, MissKris, being of sound mind and body, do not wish to be kept alive indefinitely by artificial means. Under no circumstances should my fate be put in the hands of pinhead politicians who couldn't pass ninth-grade biology if their lives depended on it, or lawyers / doctors interested in simply running up the bills. If a reasonable amount of time passes and I fail to ask for at least one of the following:

Chicken fried steak
Cream gravy
Mexican food
French fries
Ice cream

All of which would kill me now, it should be presumed that I won't ever get better. When such a determination is reached, I hereby instruct my appointed person and attending physicians to pull the plug, reel in the tubes, let the 'fat lady sing,' and call it a day!

Hi MissKris - great to catch up on your last few days worth of blogs. Have you ever tried Poutine? It's a French Canadian dish - basically French Fries sprinkled with Cheese Curd and drowned in hot gravy - I'd add that to my list!
Things on this side of the border are getting pretty hairy too. Gas has gone up another 2.5 cents this week and because we are on an island, that means that everything that comes here is going up in price. We'll all soon be eating baked beans and cornbread!
I loved your post about yourself and life changes. We must be about the same age, as I have been thinking much along the same lines lately. I do know that I'm more comfortable being 'me' than I've ever been and am not afraid of being different or of having a strong opinion, as I once was.
