What a disappointment.
Maybe I wasn't in the right mood.
But I did not like this book.
And I usually love books by Jodi Picoult.
Maybe I'll try it at another time.
On another day.
Alaine liked it.
Is there anyone else out there who's visiting today
Who can tell me what they thought
of it?

Aw, this is sad, specially after how excited you were to get to read it :( I haven't read any of Picoult's writing...

Do you read Elizabeth Berg? I just read one of her books recently.

Kris, I have LOTS to say about HANDLE WITH CARE but don't have time to post (or write) for a few days (Q's on vacation 'til next Monday). Suffice it to say I was very disappointed also. What a downer book! More soon . . .

I'm not much help as I just don't care for Jodi Picoult's style of writing ~ she is too depressing for me all the way around. Sorry.

Oh yeah, it's depressing. I wasn't so happy with how it ended. But it made me think a lot and if I can read a book and it makes me think (even if it's sad) I like it. I've read too many books that I get done with and can't even remember what I've read. Jodi Picoult books stay with me. :) I'm sorry you didn't like it.

I'm working my way through Lonesome Dove right now. I refuse to stop reading it although it is taking me FOREVER to finish it. That is one long book.
