It's too hot.....

Since being weaned off hormones I can relate to this. I'm waking up 2-4 times per nite drenched in sweat...even dripping off my nose! HELP!!!! Does anyone have any natural products they're taking that help? I just ordered something called Menoquil that came highly recommended...anyone using that? This is the pits.

I've heard several women swear by black cohosh. I couldn't tell it did a thing for me, but you might want to try it.

I had a hysterectomy when I was 30, so I went into menopause really suddenly, and it lasted on and off for 20 years. I never found anything that worked for me except hormone replacement, which of course I discontinued because of all the scares. Actually, the only thing I found that worked if only temporarily was...chocolate. And I don't say that to be funny!

Why did you get weaned off? I just started on them and think it´s the best thing ever! Finally I´m feeling normal again and don´t even want to think about having to quit....
I have heard of the "probability" to getting cancer, but my Dr. reassured me that it is only when taken for many years.
I sure hope you find something to help your symptoms!

That sounds very difficult. I hope you find something that works. This is one of the reasons I would keep my period forever if I could.

Hi Kris,
Ever tried sleeping in the nude?
I'm not joking, it did wonders for me.

Soy protein has helped me. I do a smoothie in the morning. Get mine from Whole Foods. Add fresh or frozen fruit, ground golden flax seed for regularity, a little yogurt for the liquid. Has helped.
