On the rare occasions I find some time to do any blog browsing out of the circle I regularly
visit I am sometimes dazzled by the amount of blogs people will list in their sidebars as the ones they follow. Sometimes those lists scroll down forever.
How on earth does anyone find the time to go read so many?!
How much time do we humans spend on
these machines?!?

Hello MissyKrissy, I found one of you comments at Midlife JobHunter.

I wonder too, how people can read so many blogs. I try, and I spend more time doing so than I plan - it's a but if an addiction. :)

Luckily, at least on my blog list, not everyone posts every day.

You are at the top of my list, Kris.

My list is on Google Reader.

Many of the blogs I have listed there are thrift and craft blogs.

I don't read a tenth of those listed on my blog. Either I've noticed they link to me, so I return the favor; or I find them interesting. Some of them are just such long-time blogging friends I want to give others a chance to befriend them.
A couple of the favorite blogs I DO read are a little R-rated, but are SO funny! But I'm afraid to link to them for fear some obscenity will end up on my blog.

Well, I've been known to refer to the blogging/internet/computers in general as time-suckers. And they are. I try to read a few blogs every day. But sometimes I just can't keep up and I have to mark them all as read in my reader. And then try again. There are those that i try to read no matter what (like yours). Though I don't always have time to comment. But, you're right. We spend way too much time with machines in general. *sigh*
