Sweet childish days, that were as long as twenty days are now. ~ William Wordsworth

It won't be long, little boys.

The back yard will become your paradise.

The Mason Bees will become your friends.

The porch's wind chimes will become

the music you play by.

The holly and snowball and laurel will shade you

from the sun.

And you'll be free

to be.

Sounds wonderful. I´m happy they get to play outside soon. You need to have a "Sandkasten" (we say in German) a sandbox for them too.

Ah so lovely. There is nothing like the outdoors to a child!

I just love that poem. It perfectly evokes the carefree nature of childhood summer days. Lovely.
