My Dear Hubby is a quiet, unassuming man who never pursues the limelight. But when asked to do something, he rises to the occasion. Easter Sunday was one of those occasions. He took part in a musical our church presented in the morning and evening services and he and the rest of the cast, musicians, and choir did an AMAZING job. You can't see his face here...he's the guy in the glittery robe...but aren't these costumes authentic? I was very proud of him.

hi; just found your blog; I have enjoyed reading some of your entries; I have to agree with you, why would anyone want to be famous and have their entire lifes scrutinized by the public.

What a neat thing your husband participated in for your church's musical! Looked like a lot of planning and work went into it too :)

looking forward to getting to know you more :)

enjoy the day

What a great guy! Mine would never want to do anything on a stage.
The costumes look really authentic. At first I thought the picture was a drawing of past times!

Congrats to your hubby! Good for him for stepping up to the plate. And, yes, the costumes are amazing!

Just to let you know about the costumes...they were rented thru an offshoot of some sort from Universal Studios. Dear Hubby heard it was because so many movies have been made in the area we somehow had access. Some of the basic 'people' robes were made by volunteer seamstresses within the church, I believe, but a lot of the more elaborate robes and gear are copyrighted by Universal and can only be rented.
